A nineteen-minute memory piece in which a two-syllable childhood call becomes spatial electronic form. Panning, beating tones, reverse echoes and ritual pulse keep unfolding without making the code feel like the subject; the real drama is a remembered sound repeatedly changing shape.
How the machine enters
Claudius Fanusie wrote ChucK code to trigger musical information, design synthesised instruments and generate constrained passages under his direction, then performed MIDI material and shaped rhythm, stems, arrangement and processing in Ableton Live. The composition remains explicitly composer-led; no machine-learning claim is made.
