A restored vocal Eno album where songs, treated voices and ambient detail keep exchanging foreground and atmosphere. The generative element is track-specific rather than a claim for the whole record, but its soft instability matters inside one of the album's most suspended moments.
How the machine enters
On Going Unconscious, Eno used SSEYO Koan to generate a textural pad, placing a software-authored layer inside a deliberately composed and produced song. Elsewhere he sang, wrote and shaped voices from a keyboard through harmony, formant and pitch controls. This is a 2026 reissue of a 2005 album, not newly composed 2026 music, and no machine-learning claim is made.
