A remix record that keeps its pulse and its ghosts. Dub techno, industrial drag and Tujiko Noriko’s voice circulate through seven sharply different rooms; the coded pieces feel like the building briefly learning to breathe.
How the machine enters
Shojiro Nakaoka’s two Shakou versions are stereo excerpts from a longer browser-based generative work. The system continuously recombines stems from the original CxBxT recording into shifting abstract sound and monochrome imagery; the rest of the album is human-made remix work, not relabelled as generative.
