A compact pop-club track whose hook is partly the result of giving the code room to misbehave. Random modifiers generate the bassline and chorus lead, but DJ_Dave turns their useful accidents into a finished song rather than treating surprise as an end in itself.
How the machine enters
DJ_Dave told Beatportal that she made the track in ten minutes, leaning on random modifiers in her code for prominent sounds. The lead melody emerged as a random pattern drawn from a C-sharp minor pentatonic scale; she selected and shaped that material into the release.
