Moonlight becomes control voltage, but the appeal is not the diagram. Across a single slow arc, cracked electronics and luminous drones keep changing density as two performers steer and answer a signal that can never quite repeat.
How the machine enters
Simon steers homemade telescopes fitted with photodiodes and optical sensors. An analog amplifier turns their changing readings of celestial light into control voltage for Geologist's modular synthesizer, modulating pitch, filters and other parameters while Geologist responds in real time. The performers built and direct the system; no machine-learning claim is made.
