Fourteen research careers recast as bright, patiently unfolding electronics. Citation counts become pulse and pitch; Karhide then trims the spreadsheet chill with grain, drift and enough melodic sentiment to keep the graphs breathing.
How the machine enters
Sonimet maps each researcher's publication timeline, career milestones and citation density into MIDI velocity, pitch and rhythm. Karhide imports those generated parts into Ableton Live, then arranges and reshapes them with Synplant, Microtonic and effects. The release documents data sonification and substantial human production, but makes no machine-learning claim.
