Three hours of pastoral drift generated by an unusually poetic control system. Text becomes Morse-code gates, lunar phases disturb their timing, and three resonator chords open into shortwave haze: ambient music whose apparent stillness is full of machinery.
How the machine enters
Brian Grainger recorded the piece on his portable Audioholistics modular system. A module translates a section of Homer's Odyssey into twice-daily Morse-code gate patterns; a second module subdivides those gates differently each day according to lunar phases. Shortwave radio passes through feed-forward delay and distance-based filtering. Grainger chose and patched the system and recorded its evolving output; no machine-learning claim is made.
