How the machine enters
Aji describes the album as an attempt to produce free- and avant-jazz through live coding in TidalCycles. Probabilistic patterns, changing tonal systems and improvised code organise samples he recorded from handmade and acoustic instruments; the Bandcamp edition also includes the full TidalCycles script. No machine-learning claim is made.
