Wired Moth release note
Strange Attractor
Robert Heel
Two long sides of slow-motion instability. Tones gather, thin and drift without settling into a loop, while tiny changes in pressure make the custom instrument feel less like a machine demonstrating chaos than a landscape being patiently played.
How the machine enters
Heel combines a self-built Eurorack instrument with custom software whose modulation is derived from chaotic attractors. The system produces structured, continuously varying behaviour without loops; Heel shapes its output through composition, intuition and performance. No machine-learning claim is made.
