Leviathan II: The Artificer
Stephen Roddy
A sixty-three-minute sequel whose dark ambient mass keeps revealing moving parts: coded percussion, granular guitar and dense electronic weather arranged with the patience of long-form composition rather than the passivity of a system left running.
How the machine enters
Roddy uses TidalCycles compositionally, controls granular and effects chains from guitar, and deploys generative systems he designed in Max/MSP. He wrote and performed the full work, retaining authorship through the systems' construction, instrumental control and arrangement. No machine-learning claim is made.
