SYNTƏL8
Thirteen short pieces move from acid into bass-heavy club forms without settling into one house style. The useful distinction is in the making: SYNTƏL8 performs prepared code in real time, arranging each take as it is recorded.
How the machine enters
SYNTƏL8 wrote the underlying code in advance, then arranged every track live straight to tape using the artist's Syntə live-coding environment. The release explicitly separates this practice from machine learning and large language models.
