Three small machines blinking in clean air. A Pure Data patch turns clipped pulse, glassy tone and patient negative space into live-generated miniatures: exacting computer music with enough swing in its joints to escape the vitrine.
How the machine enters
Timo Hoogland built the underlying non-linear work as an interactive Pure Data system running on a Raspberry Pi. For this EP he recorded live playthroughs of the patch, selected three takes, and published the source code; the finished tracks are generated live by his authored system. No machine-learning claim is made.
