A lean, two-part study in sequence and surface. Twelve minutes is enough for clipped pulses, sustained tones and rough-edged digital movement to keep changing their relationship without losing the thread.
How the machine enters
Both tracks were recorded in real time while v4w.enko configured a generative sequencer programmed in Max/MSP 4.5.7. The artist builds procedural instruments in Max/MSP and Jitter, placing the authorship in the design and live handling of the system. No machine-learning claim is made.
